Green tea extract is rich in catechins, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which are potent antioxidants. It is studied for its benefits on metabolism, cardiovascular health, and cognitive function.
Green tea extract is derived from the leaves of Camellia sinensis and is standardized for catechin content, primarily EGCG.
